Dominator,
the next generation in aerodynamic helmets, delivers stability at
high-speeds in a compact, comfortable, ultra-lightweight package.
Designed and tested with the involvement of racing's best drivers,
it is the helmet of choice for all forms of open wheel and kart
racing. Dominator's features built in trip strips, rear wicker and
front spoiler combine to deliver outstanding aerodynamic
performance. Bell also makes a Sprint Car version of the Dominator
that does not have forehead vents or chin bar vents to prevent
dust and dirt from entering the helmet.
In addition, the Dominator features our new SRV friction shield
system*. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the
driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple
opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked
position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the
shield opening during an impact.
* Sizes 7 1/8 through 7 3/4, built after September 26, 2006, are
equipped with an SRV friction shield system.
