| The
M3 is a feature packed, multi-use lightweight
helmet that incorporates bold European styling and superior
ventilation. The M3 provides many of the features and benefits of
the Ultra Series helmets at a value price.
Based on the M3, the M3
Xtra is the first truly large size helmet with a shell
that is 5% larger than a standard extra large helmet. This
multi-purpose helmet features a full liner, roomy interior and
superior ventilation.
In addition, the M3 and the M3 Xtra feature
our new SRV friction shield system*. This new system has a slide
mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the
shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly
adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce
the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
* Sizes 6 3/4 through 7, built after August 28, 2006, are equipped
with the SRV friction shield system. Sizes 7 1/8 through 7
3/4 built after September 7, 2006, are equipped with the SRV
friction shield system.
