0-10,000 rpm tachometers mount in a 3.375" hole.
The cable input is on the rear and the tell tale reset is
on the side of the unit. The input is
non-directional, so there is no need to know which
direction the tachometer drive rotates. The ratio we stock is 4:1 only.
The
3" body size fits into a 3 1/8" hole in the dash.
There is a step in the body to allow for a 4" body size
fitting into a 4 3/8" dash hole.
A 4:1 Jones
tachometer must use this tach drive. Because of the cam
turning at half the speed of the cam, this gearbox is a must.
