external antenna is a 6" 1/4 wave antenna. Our
antenna is mounted by drilling a 3/8" hole in the
fiberblass on the roof of the race car. Our antenna
comes standard with a 6' cable and a BNC connector.
Custom cable lengths, longer or shorter are available by
request. 450-470 mhz |

We
also offer an upgrade antenna. This antenna uses a BNC
type bulkhead fitting that is mounted through the
fiberglass. This antenna is more versatile and having
a BNC quick mount connector, it is easily removed for
replacement our when using a car cover. This antenna
is mostly used on Formula 1, Indy, Atlantic and Formula 2000
style cars.
Available
for 450-470 mhz or 900 mhz.
